Tenae and Nicholas | Wedding Photography in Perth

Tenae and Nick’s love ignited at the most unexpected place – Afghanistan, where they both served with the Australian Defence Force. Their wedding ceremony was a beautifully emotional affair that took place at the Lake Charlotte Vineyard. This was our second visit in the last couple of months to this somewhat secluded and underrated, but simply gorgeous venue (we were there for Jade and Rhys’s wedding in October). The venue is very well suited as backdrop for wedding photography with its lovely vineyards, trees and grain fields. Despite scorching hot conditions we had so much fun – we will never forget Tenae’s efforts to walk through a field of tall dry grass in high heels Smile

Bin Bin and Ross | Blog of Wedding Photographers in Perth

At Objektiv Photography, we believe that weather sorts itself out on wedding days. We have lost count how many times it would rain right up until 15 minutes or so before the ceremony, before clearing up to give beautiful soft light for the big event. This was the case at our own wedding nearly four years ago (where did the time go?!), and was definitely the case at Bin Bin and Ross’s wedding. The ceremony was held at the Bridgeleigh Reception Centre in Wanneroo, and it was full of emotion with lovely mix of Chinese and Australian wedding customs. The Bridgeleigh hosted the lunchtime reception as well, after which we left for Mulaloo Beach for some location photography. We hope that these photos to some extent succeed to portray the lovely personalities of Bin Bin and Ross. We cannot thank them enough for allowing us to photograph their big day.

Athena and Elliott | Blog of Wedding Photography in Perth

Athena and Elliott’s wedding allowed us to go back to one of our favourite Perth spots for wedding photography – the historical area of Guildford. The wedding ceremony and reception were both held at the Rose and Crown Hotel, and the location photos were shot at the Stirling Square where the historic St Matthew’s Church is located. This is our second visit to the Stirling Square in the last few months, following our location shoot for Melissa and Lee. We’d like to thank the whole bridal party for making the day so much fun. We’re particularly pleased with the boys jumping shot, we think the facial expressions in it are priceless Smile

Kirstie and Les | Perth Wedding Photography Blog

Kirstie and Les were the second lovely English couple whose wedding we photographed on the last weekend in November. They opted to exchange the cold and wet England for the summer heat of Perth. And Perth obliged, bringing out a hot, gusty summer day. The wedding ceremony was held at the Arch Monument section of the Cottesloe Beach. Location shots were done around the ceremony area, and the nearby Cottesloe Sundial. Salt on the Beach hosted the wedding reception which ran from noon until midnight! I think we could learn from English a thing or two on how to put up a party Smile

Dani and Elliott | Perth Wedding Photography

The weekend of the 26th and the 27th of November gave us opportunity to photograph two lovely English couples that decided to get married in Perth. First up, Dani and Elliott had both their ceremony and reception on board the Aussie Warrior charter boat from the Mills Charters. These sort of weddings are rare for us, and are something we would like to do more enough. The wedding gave us opportunity to induldge more in the photojournalistic, or reportage style of telling the wedding story, and we hope that we have succeeded. The boat trip was full of fun, with the highlight probably being the up close meeting with a police patrol boat. The bride and groom thought that was sort of symbolic for the occassion Smile As it turns out, the day was also Elliott’s birthday which surely makes it simpler for Dani to buy presents in the future Smile
