Ashley & Lee | Perth Wedding Photography

Before you ask, Ashley is the girl, Lee is the boy Smile

If you follow us on Facebook you may have seen the post about us photographing two gorgeous sisters’ weddings in two weeks. This is the first one! First of all, you’ll see this is one bunch of very good looking, fun Scots, kilts and all! (you will have a question about this a bit later on, and the answer is – YES, they did, but sorry, we couldn’t show it! Smile )

Ashley and Lee had their ceremony at an amphitheatre at Sir James McCusker Park in Iluka, and reception at AQWA.

Kellie & Cody | Perth Wedding Photography

This was one of the smaller weddings we photographed this year, but what this intimate affair lacked in size, it certainly made up in elegance, beauty and emotions.

We can’t stop admiring these stunning, natural flowers by award winning florists Corporate Floral. The photo shoot happened at the John Oldham Park before the ceremony. The ceremony took place on the terrace of Frasers Restaurant, and the private room was set up for their reception dinner afterwards.

Keira & Rob | Perth Wedding Photography

On your wedding day, you have to take everything in your stride. The whole second half of 2012 wedding season we were followed by rain, showers and drizzles. Keira and Rob didn’t fair much better, but they still ended up having a lot of fun!

We had an early start that day, we were in Mandurah just before 9am, to photograph our cricket loving bride and her stunning bridesmaids, all in blushing pink. We then proceeded to Munja Gardens, for the ceremony, and the reception was held at the Cafe Pronto.

Kelly & Michael | Perth Wedding Photography

What great fun to have your own kids present at your wedding! Kelly and Michael had their gorgeous offspring there to cheer them on while they officially tied the knot.

They got married in the lush gardens of the Bridgeleigh, where they also had their reception afterwards. The large dance floor allowed everyone to show their best moves, with twinkling fairy lights all around. The kids in particular were amazing!

This was a very fun and relaxed Sunday wedding everyone seemed to enjoy.

Corinne & Todd | South West Wedding Photography

One Saturday in late October, we travelled down to the beautiful South West region of Western Australia to photograph Corinne and Todd’s wedding.

The day started at the Geographe Cove Resort in Dunsborough, with its spacious villas that provide plenty of lovely soft natural light. Both the ceremony and the reception were held at the magical Clairault Winery near Margaret River.  The nearby Injidup Point provided some of the most dramatic backdrop we have ever seen with miles of sprawling rocks bathed in a strong, glaring late afternoon sun.

This was such a memorable day, and what shone above everything else were Corinne and Todd, whose love and elegance left mark with everyone that was privileged to be there.

Carena & Michael | Perth Wedding Photography

The most popular photo ever on our Facebook page, Carena and Michael in the orange grove is truly magical. Here is some more of their engagement shoot at Carena’s grandparents’ estate in Gidgegannup.

And their wedding photos are just as lovely. The two got married in September at Caversham House (which has been voted ‘The Best Wedding Venue in Perth’ for 2012). It rained pretty heavily on the morning of that day, but it all worked out great, and the couple managed to have their ceremony on the steps in the Hidden Garden, as planned.

While waiting for the reception, their guests had a set of games to play, such as croquet and bocce. The groom and groomsmen also took the chance to test their hand-eye coordination before walking in.

The special treat on the night was a cheese cake – a wedding cake made of cheese! It was gorgeous!

Lauren & Ross | Wedding Photography Perth

This time you get the ‘behind the scenes’ of both the bride and groom preparation (a big thanks again to our colleague Boris from Artline Photography)!

Some people have really talented friends – Lauren’s dress was made by one of her bridesmaids! Ross’ groomsmen had nothing to do with the making of his suit, but they helped him put it on. The guys drove to the ceremony in style, in an old VW kombi.

We seem to be going to Fremantle quite a bit, this time it was the Fremantle Wesley Uniting church, and our usual favourite places for the portraits afterwards. However, the fun bridal party made it a memorable photo shoot with their antics, too bad we can’t show you all the photos, but let’s say the passers by were entertained!

And at reception, held at the Salt on the Beach, what a fantastic cake, made by Lauren’s mum! We cannot imagine how long it took! Just look at the detail on all those flowers!
