Renee and Ashton | Perth Wedding Photography

While everyone enjoyed their well earned time off during the Christmas break, Renee and Ashton were busy preparing the finishing touches for their late December wedding day.  The event was a feast for the eyes, with lots of hand made details, such as a hundred paper cranes, hung in a curtain. It also had our favourite Tiffany chairs.

The ceremony was held at the Memorial Park in Mosman. And while we were doing the location photos with the couple and their best man and maid of honour, the guests had fun playing bowls at the reception venue just across the road, at the Mosman Park Bowling Club.

This was another relaxed and fund wedding we are glad to have been a part of.

Rebecca & Steven | Perth Wedding Photography

This elegant and fun wedding shows us how both the bride and groom can show their character. Rebecca was all glamour and style, with a touch of retro, and  leopard print shoes, whereas Steven kept it a bit more casual in his Cons – they were black, you have to give him that. Their bridal party followed suit, and it all works just lovely!

They had their ceremony on a Friday Winking smile at Merv Cowan Reserve in Freo; we than went for a photo shoot around The Maritime Museum, A-Shed, and the Ferris wheel.

The elegant reception was held at The Red Herring, with my favourite cake ever – so simple, yet so perfect!

Somayyeh & Riccardo

What a show stopping wedding! And another one threatened by bad weather. The rain forced the couple to move the ceremony inside, and scrap the whole location shoot plan, but we got some spectacular photos! This mainly thanks to Somayyeh and Ricki’s great attitude – they didn’t let anything dampen their spirits, even though their clothes and hair did get a bit wet!

So, both the ceremony and reception happened at the Breakwater in Hillarys and the photos were done around it.

This wedding not only had stunning bridesmaids, but also the most helpful groomsmen. They helped everyone with umbrellas throughout the day.

Kerri & Doug | Perth Wedding Photography

This is a story of a veil that wanted to take over a wedding. It was a windy day, the Saturday Kerri and Doug picked for their wedding. This meant nothing whatsoever to Doug’s appearance, even with the vintage Camaro’s roof being down, but Kerri’s hair and veil suddenly acquired a life of their own! The result is a series of charming photos…

The ceremony took place at a park that has additional emotional value for the couple. Their beloved dog died only weeks before the wedding, and this was their favourite walking spot.

The reception was at the Red Herring, and other photos were taken around Point Walter and Maritime Museum in Fremantle.

Deanne & Antoni | Perth Wedding Photography

And yet another wedding with unseasonable rain, but the payoff were the striking Swan Valley vineyard photos with dark clouds and wonderful lighting, as featured on our Facebook page a few weeks ago.

Deanne and Antoni got married at the Basilica of St Patrick in Fremantle (we call it ‘the yellow church’ as its interior plays havoc with our processing Smile). The elegant reception was at Caversham House, scheduled to start at 6pm, but started at 7, because the boat with their guests got held up by the torrential rain! It all ended well, and the extra hour meant more time for us to play with the photos.

We are very proud of this one, we got some wonderful photos that day.
