This gorgeous couple is into beach life, and beach sports, and originally wanted to go to Bali for their wedding, but in the end decided to bring Bali to Perth. This was an intimate event at one of Trigg’s smaller beaches, with luscious palm branches and sunny frangipanis, and one much loved dog. Knowing the bride and groom have a lot of family overseas makes it even more important for us to know we captured the right atmosphere and emotions.
If you need a boost of colour and inspiration, feast your eyes on this beautiful Indian wedding. The ceremony was going over a few days, but the main event was held at the Nedlands Yacht Club. Nisha is one of the most beautiful brides we’ve ever had the opportunity to photograph, and look, Nitesh is quite easy on the eyes too 😉 He arrived to the wedding in style, the guys will appreciate the black Lamborghini. Girls will appreciate the sari designs.
Feast your eyes on the classic elegance that is Bree and Jack’s wedding. Everything from the gown, bridesmaids dresses, lovely ceremony at St Albans Church in Highgate, to the beautifully styled long tables at City Farm for the reception is pure perfection.
For the location photos we went to Hyde Park, followed by the place where Jack proposed, Elizabeth Key. The couple had fun on the carousel, a few more photos in front of the amazing building at Supreme Court Gardens, and then it was off to their reception venue to greet the guests and enjoy the evening.
The amazing graphics, including the place settings, done by Butterfly Days.
Two weddings from Core Cider House in a row. And a great example how the weather impacts the colours and mood of photos. Madeleine and Naviin not only have the most beautiful names, they also have faces to match. Sweethearts from high school, the tenderness between these two will melt you. We braved the rain a few times to go out into the orchard to get some good photos. Their guests enjoyed a cocktail reception at Core with live music.
Bec and Ben are not only super sweet, they’re lots of fun as well. Their wedding was both beautiful and elegant, but also relaxed. Sharing the wedding with their kids made it all the more perfect. Bec’s daughter Layla was a gorgeous bridesmaid, and their adorable son Max was the ringbearer. Core Cider House was the perfect host as always. They made sure the ceremony and reception went ahead without a hitch, and they looked after not only the bride and groom, but the photographer as well! The photos from the flowering orchard in glorious afternoon sun are some of our favourites of all time.
This was such a fun wedding to be a part of, with all the wonderful people, places and details. Alex Hotel, where the guys got ready, Perth Cultural Centre and Northbridge where we did pre-ceremony photos, and of course the majestic State Theatre Centre, where Adrian and Linda were lucky to have secured one of few available spots during the year. Their tea ceremony, wedding ceremony and reception were all held there, and it sure made for some amazing images.
After a traditional ceremony in Japan, Emily and Jono decided to have a relaxed, stylish Fremantle wedding. The bride was a vision in a glittery silver dress and elegant flowing hair. The groom was very dapper in his navy blue suit, brown shoes and bow tie. They met for the ‘first look’ at the zebras graffiti (Ootong and Lincoln), and after a walk around Freo, visiting some of our favourite photo spots, we continued to the ceremony and reception at the Little Creatures. Their reception venue is a very popular spot, especially for vintage themed weddings. It has amazing views, especially at sunset. We are thrilled to have been able to capture this wonderful day for such a lovely couple and their families.
It warms our bones looking back to the summer days, even though Jen & Ciaran’s wedding was a bit windy! A picture of elegance, Jen in a lace gown, Ciaran and his boys in navy suits, and the bridesmaids in gold! Gold also had a big spot at the reception with the cake and cake table styled in lovely glitter.
The ceremony took place at St Michael the Archamgel church in Leederville, and the reception was held at The Sebel in Mandurah.
These two gorgeous people got married just before Christmas (yup, we’re way behind with the blog, as it’s full on wedding season!) The ceremony was held in Northbridge, at St Bridgid’s Church. Afterwards, we went to Hyde Park, together with the bride and groom’s families for some portraits (you can’t go wrong with Hyde Park for photos!).
There was some more posing and silliness in Wolf Lane in Perth CBD, and then we were off to The Breakwater in Hillarys. As far as Perth wedding reception venues go, Breakwater is definitely one of the most stunning, with the view of sunset over the ocean! Their guests certainly seemed to enjoy themselves.
Here is the second part of the amazing style shoot we did with a group of talented Perth wedding suppliers. This one was themed as a Boho Chic Vintage Beach Picnic wedding, and it included a ceremony setup, a picnic setup, a fantastic model with dramatic make-up and a gorgeous dog!
