After a traditional ceremony in Japan, Emily and Jono decided to have a relaxed, stylish Fremantle wedding. The bride was a vision in a glittery silver dress and elegant flowing hair. The groom was very dapper in his navy blue suit, brown shoes and bow tie. They met for the ‘first look’ at the zebras graffiti (Ootong and Lincoln), and after a walk around Freo, visiting some of our favourite photo spots, we continued to the ceremony and reception at the Little Creatures. Their reception venue is a very popular spot, especially for vintage themed weddings. It has amazing views, especially at sunset. We are thrilled to have been able to capture this wonderful day for such a lovely couple and their families.
It warms our bones looking back to the summer days, even though Jen & Ciaran’s wedding was a bit windy! A picture of elegance, Jen in a lace gown, Ciaran and his boys in navy suits, and the bridesmaids in gold! Gold also had a big spot at the reception with the cake and cake table styled in lovely glitter.
The ceremony took place at St Michael the Archamgel church in Leederville, and the reception was held at The Sebel in Mandurah.
These two gorgeous people got married just before Christmas (yup, we’re way behind with the blog, as it’s full on wedding season!) The ceremony was held in Northbridge, at St Bridgid’s Church. Afterwards, we went to Hyde Park, together with the bride and groom’s families for some portraits (you can’t go wrong with Hyde Park for photos!).
There was some more posing and silliness in Wolf Lane in Perth CBD, and then we were off to The Breakwater in Hillarys. As far as Perth wedding reception venues go, Breakwater is definitely one of the most stunning, with the view of sunset over the ocean! Their guests certainly seemed to enjoy themselves.
Here is the second part of the amazing style shoot we did with a group of talented Perth wedding suppliers. This one was themed as a Boho Chic Vintage Beach Picnic wedding, and it included a ceremony setup, a picnic setup, a fantastic model with dramatic make-up and a gorgeous dog!

Lusi and Dan got married on a lovely warm day back in January with friends and family, many of whom arrived from eastern states.
We had a little shoot on the grounds of Christchurch Grammar and UWA, before the ceremony at St George’s College Chappel. The really special detail was that the groom’s father, Canon Frank Sheehan coordinated the ceremony.
The bridal party was then happy to do some more photos, for which we went to Kings Park, the Fig Tree, and the newly re-opened blue boatshed.
The day finished with reception at the Royal Perth Yacht Club, where the bride and groom showed off their dancing skills with a dance choreographed by Gianni Di Camillo from Dance Workshop. But then there was a surprise performance by Lusi’s uni friends: Lucy, Jessie, Jianne, Debbie, Tiffany, Quyen, Jennifer, Duong and Jiyeon!
The fantastic speeches were given by Jack (father of bride), Melinda (Maid of honour), Matt (Best man) and of course Dan the Groom.
Lusi’s elegant, feather detailed dress was from Raffaele Ciuca Bridal in Melbourne,
Florals: Clare Cummings from The Flower Girl
Limo/Rolls Royce: Belle Limosine
Hair: Bonnie from Living Dolls
Make up: Lily from Beauty Contour
Musicians: Jenny Coleman (Trumpeter), Dominic Perissinotto (Organist), Choir coordinated by Shamara de Tissera
DJ and MC: Adam McGuire
Cake: Ani from Comper Cakes
Here’s another wedding that braved the weather conditions! The rain started right on cue when the ceremony was due to begin, but Damir & Jasmine bravely decided to wait it out, and it all paid off, resulting in a perfectly fine afternoon!
This lovely couple we’ve known for a while has great style, and that sure has shown in their wedding. Both ceremony and reception was held at Mandoon Estate, and what an amazing new location for weddings it is! Another precious photo happened at Alfred’s Kitchen where they went on their first date
There were some special overseas guests we were happy to see, and a few guests of honour, including their dog Boris who was equipped with a GoPro camera on the day.

We photographed a wedding every wedding photographer dreams about – amazing, unique location, interesting details, perfect weather… This was the first time we photographed at Rottnest, and it didn’t disappoint, the colours, nature, lighthouse, and of course friendly quokkas all added to the final result.
And to have the bride so pleased with the results, always makes our hearts sing. This from Aimee: “I can not thank you enough for our photos. They are just absolutely incredible. No words. The day was captured perfectly and the fun and memories we had are going to be forever locked in these photos. Just thank you!!!”
The ceremony was held at The Basin, and the reception at Hotel Rottnest, with amazing, pastel and book themed details.
Perfect pastel floral bouquets and Aimee’s crown was supplied by Jen’s Floral Designs.
